It was Drew and Gina’s special day but everyone’s attention suddenly turned to their parents when the priest made something unusual. Just read through to find out what happened on their wedding day.
In November 2010, Drew and Gina held their beautiful nuptials in Scottsdale, Arizona. Normally, just like any couple, they could not wait for their parents to witness them exchange their vows.
The bride and groom asked to stand aside
At that time, Gina’s parents had been together for 38 years, while Drew’s parents were going strong in their 34 years. So everyone, including Father Jim Husek were so impressed with the foundation of their relationship.
Hence, during the ceremony, Father Husek spoke about lasting love and how hard it is to find but he suggested that a couple can maintain a good relationship if they just have strong commitments like Gina’s and Drew’s parents. He further suggested that the bride and the groom had the perfect role models.
So before the couple could solidify their nuptials, Father Husek surprised everyone at the venue. He told the bride and the groom to move aside and said “this is going to be for the parents.”
He called both parents and asked to stand right before him. After which, he blessed Drew’s parents, as well as, Gina’s parents and wished them that they would continue loving each other until their last breath.
Everyone was moved and were in tears at that moment especially the bride and groom who had an ideal role model. The surprise became the couple’s most memorable moment.

While Gina and Drew’s wedding became a touching moment, Tom Gardner and Elizabeth Rex Hundley’s wedding became a very odd moment for everyone. Surprising as it may seem, but the bride appeared on her wedding day wearing a dinosaur costume.
Hundley wore a dinosaur suit on her wedding day because she loves T-Rex. She said her mother’s maiden name influenced her to be obsessed with the said dinosaur.
As her wedding day was fast approaching, she could not stop thinking of the fact that she would go from Rex to Gardner. So she decided to surprise everyone on her wedding day by donning a very weird wedding dress.
Mr. Gardner said he was really surprised when he turned around and saw his bride wearing a dinosaur outfit. Despite the shocking dress, the couple still exchanged their “I dos” on their wedding day.
