McDonald’s is celebrating the launch of its delivery service with UberEATS. To add to the celebration of Global McDelivery Day, McDonald’s Streetwear Merch will be given away worldwide on this special day.
Customers can get the merch collection for free. It includes the “World Famous” branded sweatsuit and slides. An Egg McMuffin hoodie, a pillowcase set, a picnic blanket, and a onesie designed with Big Mac graphics are also up for grabs.
How to Get The McDonald’s Streetwear Merch
Order McDonald’s products through UberEATS on the delivery service’s opening day on Wednesday (July 26) to get a chance to get one limited-edition free item. Unfortunately, the McDonald’s Streetwear Merch promo is not available everywhere. Log on to the McDonald’s delivery website on Tuesday to find out if the branches in your area are included in the promotions.
In select cities around the world, the free McDelivery Collection will be available for only one day, on Global McDelivery Day. However, aside from the McDelivery Collection global giveaway on Wednesday, the company will also surprise thousands of its customers around the world with special deliveries.
More McDonald’s Collections
Earlier this month, the giant food chain also launched a line of apparel and accessories to honor its most iconic offering, the Big Mac. The collection is in partnership with BEAMS. The companies only released a total of 300 of each piece within the collection, Trend Hunter noted.
The set includes graphic tees, burger-emblazoned baseball caps, large tote bags, triangular purses, and phone cases. The year 1968 is also included in the collection’s design. This is the year when the first McDonald’s burger was introduced in Pittsburgh.
The items are all individually priced, starting at around 3,900 yen ($35). McDonald’s has put up the items for sale on Japanese e-commerce giant, Rakuten. In addition to the collaborative apparel and accessories, consumers can purchase jars of Big Mac sauce from Rakuten.
McDonald’s also embraced the runway at the opening of Miami Swim Week last week, Foot Wear News reported. Students from Miami International University of Art and Design created the McDCouture Collection. The fashion collection features beach or resort wear that is designed entirely out of McDonald’s food packaging.
Some of the designs used McDonald’s sandwich wrappers and boxes, soft drink cups, and Happy Meal boxes. The Sriracha sauce lids, straws, and 250 to-go bags are also incorporated in the models’ wardrobes. All materials are used in McDonald’s chains.
