Ada had small patches of gray hair and wanted to cover it up. Hence, she went to a salon to solve her problem but went home with a hair disaster story.
The stylist bleached Ada’s hair, but the customer got disappointed when she realized she had white blonde hair with blue patches. To make the matter worse, she was rejected during a job interview because her look was deemed unprofessional for a job.
Rachel Ray to the rescue!
To get her beautiful hair back, Ada needed a professional help. So, she asked Rachel Ray to help her fix her hair.
Ray’s team quickly stepped in and explained to Ada that she needed to go through a drastic change to fix her hair. They needed to cut her hair short to restore its healthy look and it should be highlighted and lowlighted to fix the color.
As a result, Ada was given short, shaggy bob with dark and light colors. Ada was really happy with her makeover as it gave her a youthful glow.
Good thing Ray came to the rescue. However, not all victims of fashion were given a makeover. For instance, Nina Mather, who paid $200 to get a beautiful balayage went home with a damaged hair.
Not all victims have a rescuer
The social worker visited a salon in Sydney and told a hairstylist that she wanted a balayage dye technique. She even brought a photo of a woman with beautiful balayage so the hairstylist’s reference.
However, Mather realized that the five-hour-makeover was just a waste of time. She got really disappointed when she saw her hair was dry and brittle.
Irked Mather told the salon that she would not pay for the service and started complaining about the appearance of her hair. The salon tried to fix her hair, but Mather just became more upset.
Shortly after, the salon called cops and report Mather’s behavior. The officers tried to settle both parties and told Mather that she legally had to pay but could file a legal action against the salon afterward.
Following the hair disaster, Mather went to another hairdresser and had a consultation. She was told that the first step was a hair treatment and would need extensive repair work to bring back its glow.
Mather was so embarrassed with her that she even cried in front of her 10-year-old son. She also had to wear a Jamaican beanie to go to work.
