A busy mom who was struggling with severe headaches for a couple of years was healed by prayer. Hence, she is now encouraging everyone to trust God especially when there are challenges in life.
The unusual headaches
Terry Meeuwsen suffered severe headaches in the past 10 years of her life. The pain usually last for a couple of hours and sometimes lasted up to 12 hours.
She said there were times that the pain was so bad that it just prevented her from doing everyday activities. “I had three kids I was homeschooling,” she said. “And you just have to get up and keep going.”
As time passed by, Meeuwsen noticed that her headaches were becoming life threatening. Her vision got affected and there were times that she could not move her body for a couple of minutes.
Desperate for relief, Meeuwsen tried different medication but nothing worked. Her doctor also failed to determine the causes of her migraine and ran out of solutions.
Meeuwsen turned her life over to the Lord
After Meeuwsen realized that there was no one there to help her with her headaches, she turned to the Bible to learn about healing. It was then she discovered that people should reach to God during times of difficulties.
Although her headaches persisted, Meeuwsen continued on praying and kept on believing that God will eventually heal her. She lifted all of her pain to God.
She said one night while having a headache, she prayed to God. She believed that while talking to him, God was already healing her and she would never feel the pain ever again.
Meeuwsen said on the following day she noticed that she barely felt the pain and on the next morning, her headache was totally gone. Since then, she never encountered the same headache again.
Meeuwsen is just one of the many people who was healed by prayer. Just like the others who experienced God’s miracle, she is now encouraging everyone to have faith in God.
